Darlene started browsing the Net looking for ideas that might bring her closer to semi-retirement, and came across the fabulous mini donut business! After several months of discussion, design ideas, international communication, hard knocks education on Customs Canada and Department of Transportation regulations, she brought her unique little mobile caravan home!
Darlene has been so lucky to have found incredibly talented local trades to complete her project. Thanks to Larry and his guys at DSS Welding for fabricating the kitchen, Dave and Rob at HB Electric for providing our power, Carl and Gus for getting hot and cold water and, the icing on the cake, Barry and Shelly at Leon’s Signs for the amazing decals and signage!
Darlene is now ready to produce Island Mini Donuts for everyone. These are the original, traditional hot and freshly cooked on site little gems everyone waits forever for at the PNE or annual fairs. She is available for booking for marketing campaigns, sporting events, holiday festivities, fundraisers…wherever you think you might enjoy the intoxicating scent of Island Mini Donuts permeating the air!
